About Us

THE GAMEPLAN is a student-athlete consulting service located in Central New Jersey. We specialize in providing a comprehensive college selection, qualification, recruiting and admissions “game plan” for high school athletes and their parents.  After consulting with former collegiate and professional athletes, NCAA coaches, high school athletes and their parents, Michael Vanduyn and Al-Tereek Battle created THE GAMEPLAN in order to address the unmet needs of high school student-athletes.  Many their parents are either unaware of the recruiting process or they lack the time and resources to assist their children in selecting the college that fits. 

At THE GAMEPLAN, our goal is to maximize each individual student-athlete’s potential, both on the field and in the classroom. One of our main focuses is to work with you, your parents and your teachers to make sure you achieve the highest level of success in the classroom. Your grades will be a significant factor in determining how you are recruited. Whether its making sure you are on target in taking the required NCAA core courses or signed up to take the appropriate SAT or ACT tests, our team will provide you with the necessary guidance.

When it comes to athletics, THE GAMEPLAN will help maximize your athletic potential through tailored fitness and diet programs. We will analyze your athletic ability through
certified testing. Our trainers and nutritionists will work with you to set and achieve goals that will place you in the best possible position to succeed. We will monitor your progress throughout the execution of your “game plan.” Our team will assist you with every step of the recruiting process, from creating your resume and recruiting packages to assisting you with scheduling your campus visits.
